About The Position

Immediate Opening for a Light Duty Automobile Technician. Reports to: Service Manager. Hours: Flexible Full Time. This is a rare opportunity. Busy shop Looking to and technicians due to increased Business.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a General Service Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to automotive repair.
  • Strong understanding of automotive repair processes.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Must have you own tools.
  • A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive service are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire service, and other essential services.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform repairs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate services.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Document all services performed and communicate findings with customers clearly.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
