About The Position

The Lift Truck Operator will be responsible for operating a Hyster sit-down forklift with cascade attachments to load and unload finished product, dunnage, aluminum coils, etc., on/from trucks. This role also involves preparing finished can or sheet material for transfer to other departments, removing coil loads and other materials from trucks as they are delivered, and assisting production, shipping, and receiving operations. The position is for the night shift, Sunday through Thursday, from 10 PM to 6 AM.

Requirements

• 1 or more years working as a Forklift Operator in a Manufacturing or Warehousing environment
• Ability to demonstrate forklift driving experience and pass the certification required
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English

Responsibilities

• Operate Hyster sit-down forklift with cascade attachments
• Load and unload finished product, dunnage, aluminum coils, etc., on/from trucks
• Prepare finished can or sheet material for transfer to other departments
• Remove coil loads and other materials from trucks as they are delivered
• Assist the production, shipping, and receiving operations
