About The Position
Under general supervision, the Lift Truck Operator is responsible for operating a lift truck up to 45 feet in the air to receive, store, and distribute merchandise while abiding by all safety guidelines. The Lift Truck Operator will also be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment while constantly maintaining the highest level of customer service.
Requirements
- Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs
- Must be able to pass lift truck licensing test (written and physical)
- Must weigh less than 300 lbs (manufacturer requirement)
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Positive attitude when working with customers
- Knowledge of merchandise handling procedures
- Knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures

Responsibilities
- Pulling orders
- Packing and repacking
- Loading merchandise for customers
- Unloading trucks
- Stocking merchandise using lift truck/tugger
- Maintaining a clean work environment
- Maintaining the highest level of customer service
- Responding to instructions from Control Booth in regards to proper merchandise to pull
- Keeping warehouse area clean
- Assisting other departments in the warehouse as needed
- Transferring materials as needed
- Maintaining aisle assigned by manager
- Putting merchandise away properly
- Checking daily closing assignments and responsibilities
