About The Position

This role is responsible for servicing Tufting Departments by supplying them with necessary materials such as yarn, rolls, and backing. The operator will drive various types of lift trucks to fulfill these duties, maintain waste records, create shipping tickets, and ensure the lift truck is properly maintained and charged. The position requires obtaining a Lift Truck Operator's License through a company-sponsored class and performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor or Warehouse Lead.

Requirements

Good eyesight, hearing, and motor skills.
Prior experience driving a lift truck.
Ability to read tickets.
Ability to make tickets for roll goods.
Ability to operate wrap station.
Ability to key data in the terminals.
Knowledge of WCM Philosophies.

Responsibilities

Service Tufting Departments by supplying with yarn, rolls, backing and other supplies as needed.
Drive pole, fork, and squeeze hysters to perform job duties.
Keep waste records.
Make shipping tickets.
Service hyster by recharging battery and performing any needed maintenance.
Obtain a Lift Truck Operator's License through a company-sponsored class.
Perform any other duties as directed by the supervisor or Warehouse Lead.
