About The Position
The Lift Team Technician will perform safe patient handling and movement. Communicates effectively with patients, families and members of the health care team. Maintains patient handling and lift equipment. Provides education related to Lift Team Program and safe patient handling and movement. Participates in Quality Improvement activities.
Requirements
- High School or higher is required.
- Heart Saver Requirement within 2 months of employment.
- Must successfully complete physical demands assessment prior to employment.
Nice To Haves
- Less than 1 year in a healthcare setting, EMT, NAI, Firefighter experience and knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and/or exercise physiology preferred.
