About The Position

Operates, cleans, maintains, and repairs lift stations and related equipment. Subject to working in confined spaces, exposure to sewer gases, chemicals, and environmental conditions.

Requirements

• Minimum of six (6) months of experience in general labor work.
• Must possess a valid Florida Class E Driver's License at the time of application
• Must obtain a Florida Class C Wastewater Collection Certification within 24 months of hire. (Graduation from high school/equivalent recognized certification required to sit for the test.)
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
• Valid Florida Driver's License and PBC Risk Management driving history approval prior to appointment.
• Hearing Loss Test required for selected candidates.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with lift station operations/repairs and/or with electrical/mechanical/plumbing work
• Graduation from high school/equivalent
• Class C Wastewater Collection Certification
