Are you a skilled technician with a strong background in electrical troubleshooting, commercial plumbing, and wastewater system maintenance? We’re looking for a Wastewater Technician to support operations by repairing wastewater systems and control panels, ensuring the reliability of critical infrastructure. In this role, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical components, including wiring, relays, circuits, and control panels in lift stations and wastewater facilities. You’ll also assist with pump repairs, system maintenance, and daily operations to keep water and wastewater treatment systems running efficiently.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of experience in general facility mechanics, controls, and operations (experience in water/wastewater operations is a plus but not required).
  • Knowledge of electrical repairs and testing, plumbing, pump repair and operation, water sampling, and wastewater sampling.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and implement effective solutions.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds, work in confined spaces, and perform duties in inclement weather.
  • Stable employment history, favorable references, and a strong track record of attendance and punctuality.

Nice To Haves

  • Operator License is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with estimating and proposal writing.

Responsibilities

  • Support the operation and maintenance of water/wastewater facilities, including drinking water plant operations, system maintenance, and repairs.
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components on control panels. (e.g., lift stations)
  • Assist the Project Manager with daily oversight and supervision of subcontractors.
  • Travel up to 80% of the time throughout Florida, Georgia, and Alabama (Southeast Region).
  • Take initiative in developing your career through training and hands-on experience.
