About The Position

Johnny Janosik is seeking reliable and energetic lift operators/cherry pickers. The role involves safely operating lift equipment, moving and preparing merchandise for storage or shipment, and using a handheld scanner to process products. It is labor-intensive, requires heavy lifting, and involves regularly being on your feet and working at heights of up to 40 feet. Safety is a priority. Training is available for candidates who are new to the field.

Requirements

• Three or more years of warehouse and forklift experience is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen; zero tolerance.
• Must be dependable.
• Ability to work at heights of up to 40 feet.
• Physical capability to lift up to 500 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods and frequently bend, squat, reach, and/or twist.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Excellent communication skills and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate stock picker/cherry picker lifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform heavy lifting of up to 500 lbs. safely and with assistance.
• Move merchandise into or out of storage or staging areas.
• Pull and prepare merchandise, ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Use a handheld scanner to process merchandise.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in training sessions to gain necessary skills and certifications.
• Maintain equipment in safe and clean condition.
