About The Position

Eaglecrest Ski Area is seeking enthusiastic, outdoor, guest service-oriented individuals to fill Lift Operator positions. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in an outdoor environment all day and interacting with skiers and snowboarders to create a friendly, upbeat atmosphere at the ski lift station. Ski or snowboard experience is considered a bonus.

Requirements

Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.
Must be able to be on their feet for a continuous period.
Must be physically able to shovel snow for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Ski or snowboard experience is a bonus.
Ability to ski or snowboard in between lift stations throughout the day (for those with experience).

Responsibilities

Safely operating the ski lifts.
Maintaining daily operational logbooks.
Maintaining orderly passenger traffic by setting up and taking down lift line mazes.
Shoveling snow onto and off loading and unloading ramps to maintain a smooth, consistent grade.
Ensuring all passengers have proper ski lift tickets by monitoring the RFID ticketing gates.
Clearly communicating with guests, instructing them when to approach the ski lift for loading.
