About The Position

This role involves executing efficient and courteous loading and unloading of guests, including ticket scanning, line control, and operating chairlifts, while adhering to safety policies. The position requires the individual to be exposed to outdoor winter weather conditions for the duration of their shift. Seasonal full-time and part-time positions are available. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and safety awareness.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Neat and clean appearance.
• Punctual and team-oriented.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be capable of walking or standing 90% or more of a normal 8 hour work shift.
• Must be capable of occasionally carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling up to 35lbs.
• Must capable of occasionally squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and balancing, able to climb ladders and shovel snow.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.
• A Motor Vehicle Record review may be required as part of your job.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-quality customer service.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with friendly service.
• Perform safety checks on chairlifts and maintain safety logs.
• Understand lift mechanics: brakes, electrical systems, mechanical drives.
• Assist with safe loading and unloading of chairs.
• Communicate effectively with lift users and operators.
• Maintain safe snow conditions on ramps.
• Set up and maintain signs, fences, and mazes.
• Monitor area for trash and safety issues.
• Stay alert to surroundings at all times.
