About The Position

The Lift Maintenance Technician ensures the safety and reliability of our lifts and conveyor by monitoring, maintaining, and repairing lift equipment in accordance with all applicable rules, regulations, and standards.

Requirements

Must be an experienced skier/snowboarder
3 + years’ of lift maintenance experien
Able to work at heights of 50+ft
Able to lift up to a 100lbs
Willing to work in extreme weather
Be able to stay on shift until work is completed
Must possess their own tool set including, but not limited to, multi-meter and hand tools to perform necessary work
Safety focused
Positive attitude
Able to climb lift towers
Competent to operate a variety of summer and winter company vehicles

Responsibilities

Daily routine maintenance and upkeep of lifts and surrounding support structures
Daily inspection checks
Documentation of daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance logs
Climbing lift towers and terminal buildings
Long term maintenance and rebuilding of components
Basic electrical system trouble shooting
Actively involved in lift emergency procedures and time dependent repairs
Various other jobs required in the operation of the ski area
