About The Position
Stannah is a family-owned manufacturing and engineering company that makes life easier for people by improving access for greater convenience and independence. Joseph Stannah founded the business in 1867, and today Stannah is a global business with the family in their fifth generation playing a hands-on role in running the business. Most people know us for our stairlifts, but our range of products includes lifts, escalators, and homelifts. We also provide maintenance and repair services. This job covers key stations across Basingstoke and Andover. Working hours are Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM, and Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:45 PM.
Requirements
- An NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering
- Proven experience as a Lift Engineer
- A valid UK driving licence
- Appropriate right to work must be held by applicants
Nice To Haves
- Comprehensive Lift engineering background, including an NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance, repair, and call-out visits on various types of lifts and stairlifts
- Ensure high-quality service and safety standards
- Perform effective risk assessments and maintain site log cards
- Participate in our on-call rota, receiving additional standby allowance and call-out payment on top of a competitive base salary
