About The Position

This position is responsible for managing freight flow by moving, scanning, and handling freight manually and/or with power equipment. The associate will maintain merchandise supply by replenishing pallets of merchandise onto/from racks or docks using warehouse systems or through verbal instructions. They will also provide basic maintenance to equipment, ensure freight quality by processing stray and damaged cases, inspecting pallets, shrink wrapping, and freight for damage, cutting shrink wrap as needed, and maintaining records, logs, and forms. Additionally, the associate will organize the warehouse by using power equipment to remove pallets from pallet returns, upstacking/downstacking empty pallets, and upstacking/downstacking freight.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage freight flow by moving, scanning, and handling freight manually and/or with power equipment.
  • Ability to maintain merchandise supply by replenishing pallets of merchandise onto/from racks or docks using warehouse systems or through verbal instructions.
  • Ability to provide basic maintenance to equipment (e.g., clean, inspect).
  • Ability to ensure freight quality by processing stray and damaged cases, inspecting pallets, shrink wrapping, and freight for damage, cutting shrink wrap as needed, and maintaining records, logs, and forms.
  • Ability to organize warehouse by using power equipment to remove pallets from pallet returns (e.g., pallet storage trailers), upstacking/downstacking empty pallets, and upstacking/downstacking freight.
  • Must be able to work the specified shift: 1530-0000 MO TU WE TH FR.
  • Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace with a zero-tolerance policy for illegal drugs and alcohol on the job.
