About The Position

The Meridian Community Association in Queen Creek is the homeowner's association (HOA) that oversees the Meridian master-planned community, a large residential neighborhood designed around an active, family-friendly lifestyle. The Meridian community itself features extensive open space, interconnected parks, walking/biking trails, a community pool, splash pad, and other outdoor amenities that promote a social, outdoor-oriented environment. The Meridian Community Association will be seeking seasonal employees to provide rule enforcement for the community pool between May 1, 2026, and September 30, 2026. Primarily responsible for the safety of residents and staff around and near the pool, maintaining cleanliness around the pool area as well as customer service for the residents.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Ability to interact, answer questions, resolve concerns, deal with conflict in person and work positively and effectively with homeowners and staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

Responsible for staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.
Greet and welcome residents and their guests to the pool area.
Controlling access to the entrance points and recording pool usage.
Enforcement of pool rules and regulations; this includes ensuring that all residents, staff, guests, and other individuals on premises are following the pool rules and regulations.
Watching swimmers and guests at the pool ensures safety at all times.
Ensuring the pool area is prepared for residents and their guests.
Maintain the cleanliness surrounding the pool area (arranging furniture, washing off the deck, etc.).
Report any repairs and/or injuries that may occur while following the proper procedures.
Report any damage or facility repair needs to Community Manager.
Ensuring the pool area is prepared at night for use the following morning and closing the pool facility.
Work cooperatively to ensure a positive experience for all residents, guests, and staff members.
Complete and submit daily shift reports to Community Manager.
Perform other related duties as directed.
