About The Position
The Lifestyle Director is responsible for providing programs and events suitable and engaging for all residents.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; college degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar field requiring similar event, customer service skills, and other responsibilities.
- Competent in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of Social Media Outlets
- Current Driver’s License
- Strong community engagement
- Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities
- Design ongoing activities and programs tailored to the community’s wide range of ages and needs.
- Promote and drive interest in the programs using a variety of methods such as newsletter, website, social media, email blast and word of mouth.
- Secure vendors and staff.
- Execute events while working with onsite management, maintenance techs, and other providers.
- Debrief with all personnel after the event to improve and grow future events.
- Operate with a constant mindset of serving the residents with excellence.
- Express clear and concise written and verbal communication with district staff, residents, Vesta management, staff, and vendors.
- Maintain order and manage special events budgets, coordinate vendors, and staff.
- Lead staff and vendors to a common goal.
- Manage the lifestyle department/associates.
