Lifestyle Bartenders create memorable guest experiences by preparing and serving drinks while acting as hosts of the bar space. They stay informed about beverage trends, micro-local offerings, and guests’ changing needs, and take ownership of guest service beyond the bar. They use their knowledge to keep the bar’s appearance and operation in excellent condition, build relationships across the hotel and community, and anticipate and meet guest needs. The role requires attention to detail in handling money, communicating information to guests, and maintaining drink quality. Bartenders are expected to help maintain a safe workplace, follow company policies and procedures, protect company assets, maintain confidentiality, and keep a professional uniform and appearance. The work involves extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking and hands-on physical activity. Other reasonable job duties may be assigned.
