The Lifestyles Activities Assistant supports the Lifestyles Activities Director in planning, organizing, and directing a variety of activities for residents. These activities aim to foster social, physical, spiritual, and educational development, as well as recreational engagement. The role involves assisting in the creation and execution of an annual and monthly activity program designed to provide entertainment, intercommunication, exercise, relaxation, and fulfill the basic psychological, social, and spiritual needs of active living residents, incorporating well-being. The assistant will oversee activities in accordance with community expectations, assist with specialty programming like matchmaking and travel clubs, and manage programming budgets. Encouraging resident participation in arts, crafts, hobbies, and intellectual development through various forums is key. The role also includes assisting with a community newsletter, ensuring resident safety during activities, and supporting volunteer groups. Maintaining resident confidentiality and treating residents with dignity and respect are paramount. The assistant will also complete other tasks as assigned by the General Manager.
