About The Position

The Supervisor is responsible for managing the team and supervising the Specialists in their day-to-day implementation of LifeSet, a model to address the needs of young people who are transitioning out of care and need individualized skill development and support to transition successfully into adulthood, specifically obtaining and maintaining safe and suitable housing, continuing their education, learning independent living skills, obtaining and maintaining employment, building a support system. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while leading a dedicated team committed to helping youth build skills, confidence, and independence. You'll play a key role in program growth, staff development, and ensuring exceptional outcomes for the individuals we serve.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field preferred; Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of social services experience required.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with a proven ability to lead diverse teams, inspire staff, and drive high-quality service delivery.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a track record of effectively managing priorities, overseeing multiple responsibilities, and ensuring timely follow-through.
  • Experience developing, mentoring, and managing staff while fostering a positive and accountable team culture.
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills.
  • Valid New Jersey Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle when an agency vehicle is not available.
