About The Position
Join the Apex Park and Recreation District's Aquatics Dream Team as a Lifeguard. We are seeking vibrant individuals to be part of our dynamic Aquatics crew, contributing to creating a positive impact in our community. Our lifeguards are the heart of the poolside excitement, embodying the motto "work hard, play hard." This role offers elite safety skills certification by StarGuard Elite and the Apex Aquatics Division, flexible shifts between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm, and opportunities for growth and promotion. Whether you're diving into your first job, a college student, or a parent seeking the perfect gig, there's room for you to soar.
Requirements
- At least 15 years old.
- Valid lifeguard certification issued by StarGuard Elite (training provided).
- Pass a swimming skills test.
Responsibilities
- Keep the pool area safe and secure, following StarGuard Elite and Aquatics Division standards.
- Ensure everyone follows pool rules, creating a fun and secure environment.
- Manage potential risks and take quick action when needed.
- Attend monthly training sessions to level up lifeguarding abilities.
- Help out with general maintenance tasks, keeping the pool area tip-top.
- Contribute to the lively atmosphere and make every day at the pool unforgettable.
