About The Position

As a part-time Lifeguard at Cibola Vista Resort in Peoria, Arizona, you will help maintain safety in the pool area while guests and owners enjoy the facilities. You will observe swimmers, perform designated rescue practices as needed, and help ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations. The role also involves welcoming guests, coordinating pool activities, responding to incidents and emergencies, and documenting accidents and hazardous conditions. Requirements

Hold lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
Be flexible to work any day of the week and any shift, including weekends and holidays.
Be able to tolerate environmental factors such as humidity, cold or heat, dust, and noise.
Be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and owners with a friendly demeanor.
Coordinate all activities at the pool.
Assist and support emergency care and treatment when an emergency occurs.
Respond to incidents or emergencies around the pool areas and facility.
Notify appropriate authorities and prepare written reports on accidents, incidents, hazardous conditions, and suspicious persons or activities.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
Observe guests and owners in the pool and perform designated rescue practices as needed.
Help ensure local, state, and federal health and safety regulations are met.
