About The Position
The Works Fitness Center is seeking a responsible and attentive Lifeguard to join our team and ensure the safety of our members in the pool area. As a Lifeguard, you will monitor pool activities, provide first aid if necessary, and ensure the facility’s environment is safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Certified Basic Swim Instructor [C-BSI] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required
- Heartsaver CPR AED [CPR] - American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Lifeguarding [ARC] - American Red Cross required
- Previous Lifeguard or Swim Instructor experience 1-2 years required
- Talking to others to convey information effectively.
- Actively looking for ways to help people.
- Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to function autonomously while keeping team members and leaders informed.
- Ability to rapidly make accurate decisions, analyze, and interpret information.
Responsibilities
