About The Position

Lifeguard at The Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium. The role involves monitoring patrons, responding promptly to emergencies, and providing emergency care until EMS arrives. Hours range from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and are flexible; weekend availability is required. Pay is minimum wage to $15.00 per hour, based on experience. Employees must be non-smokers and must not use tobacco or nicotine products for the duration of employment with the City.

Requirements

• Hold an active American Red Cross lifeguard certification or be willing to obtain one before starting.
• Be a non-smoker and refrain from using tobacco or nicotine products for the duration of employment with the City.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons.
• Act immediately and appropriately to secure patrons’ safety in an emergency.
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until EMS arrives.
