Lifeguard - Downtown YMCA
About The Position
The Downtown YMCA is seeking part-time enthusiastic community members to help save lives and ensure the safety of patrons at our pool. We are looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers who are interested in becoming lifeguards. The YMCA of Greater Richmond is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment and believes in nurturing the potential of all staff and is dedicated to the ongoing professional development of talent. Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years old.
- Current CPR, AED, First Aid certification.
- Current American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification.
- Meet basic swim requirements (if not already certified).
Nice To Haves
- Oxygen Administration (O2) certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safety of the members and program participants.
