About The Position
Harrison Meadows Country Club is now hiring Part-Time Lifeguards to join our team for the Summer Season. This role is ideal for safety-focused, dependable individuals who enjoy working in an outdoor, member-centered environment. Availability is required on weekends and holidays. Pay Range: $17.50 - $21.00 BOE
Requirements
- American Red Cross Lifeguarding - must have or must obtain by job start date.
- CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer Certification or obtain cert by job start date.
- Must abide by the Employee cell phone policy- which prohibits staff members to carry cell phone while clocked in.
- Off duty lifeguards required to help with Garbage Disposal, and helping to keep facility neat and orderly.
- Must be at least 16 years old by job start date.
Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the pool each day according to scheduled hours.
- Closely monitoring activities related to the pool area, identifying any safety issues throughout shift.
- Directing swimmers out of water in dangerous conditions.
- Closely monitoring weather reports to make sure guests remain safe.
- Overseeing pool parties.
- Providing swim lessons and coaching swim team when applicable.
- Maintaining a clean pool environment.
- Provide the highest level of customer service to our passholders and their guests.
