About The Position

YMCA at Donelson-Hermitage is Now Hiring for Lifeguard, Full-time. This position is for water lovers who are ready to keep our pools safe, have fun while working, and make an impact. The role involves creating a safe, risk-free environment for all swimmers, enforcing pool rules, building relationships with members, and maintaining a clean and safe swimming area.

Requirements

• Minimum Age: 18
• Ability to swim at an intermediate level (check out our Prerequisite Skills Evaluation)

Nice To Haves

• No lifeguarding experience? No worries! We’ll provide all required training and certifications, including the American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, risk-free environment for all swimmers.
• Enforce pool rules (politely but firmly).
• Build relationships with members while ensuring they enjoy their time in the water.
• Maintain a clean and safe swimming area.
