About The Position
The Meyers Lake YMCA is seeking qualified Lifeguards to oversee the safety of all swimmers and individuals in the aquatic area. This role requires vigilance, a positive attitude, and the ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of age.
- Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding certification.
- Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid certification.
- Willingness to be trained if not currently certified.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the safety of all swimmers and people in the aquatic area.
- Attend mandatory in-service trainings.
- Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player.
- Be rescue ready at all times during shift.
