We are seeking energetic, safety-focused, and customer-service-oriented Lifeguards to help create an outstanding pool experience for our resort guests and members through Labor Day. Requirements

  • Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification, including CPR and First Aid, required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented.
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in hot weather and varying conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous lifeguard, pool attendant, recreation, hospitality, customer service, or resort experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and members with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
  • Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests.
  • Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a luxury resort experience.
  • Distribute fresh towels and assist guests with seating and pool amenities.
  • Set up and arrange lounge chairs, umbrellas, tables, cabanas, and other pool furniture before opening.
  • Break down and properly store pool furniture and equipment at the end of each day.
  • Keep the pool deck, surrounding areas, and recreational spaces clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout the day.
  • Enforce all pool safety rules and respond appropriately to emergencies.
  • Inspect pool furniture and equipment, reporting or replacing damaged items as needed.
  • Assist with poolside activities, games, and special events.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system, process payments, and complete rental and waiver documentation.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and anticipate guest needs.
  • Follow all resort policies, safety procedures, and Recreation Department standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
