About The Position

HealthFitness is seeking enthusiastic Lifeguards to join our aquatics team at a premier corporate fitness center in Neenah, Wisconsin. In this role, you’ll help create a safe, welcoming, and positive environment while keeping a watchful eye on members and guests enjoying the facility. The schedule is part-time, 15 hours per week, with shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The position involves monitoring and ensuring a safe and friendly environment for all aquatic facility members and guests, enforcing rules, responding to emergencies, performing chemical testing, attending staff meetings and training, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the aquatics center.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification.
Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.
Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.
Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.

Responsibilities

Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.
Enforce and explain rules as necessary.
Respond appropriately to any emergency.
Perform chemical testing and documents results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.
Attend all required staff meetings and training.
Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by folding towels; cleaning; filling water machines; and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members.
Maintain a professional attitude.
Other duties as needed/assigned.
