About The Position

Join our team as a Lifeguard at The Summit and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our community! You'll be responsible for monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, maintaining clean and sanitary water conditions, and providing top-notch customer service. Requirements

• Swimming skills are required.
• Interview consists of a swim test of 100 yards without stopping and retrieving a 10lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swimming with brick to the top without stopping.
• Lifeguarding certification
• CPR certification
• First Aid certification

Responsibilities

• Provides service to the general public by scanning the water to monitor activities, informing customers of upcoming events and answering inquiries.
• Ensures the safety of the general public by enforcing pool rules and regulations, monitoring activities and providing assistance when necessary.
• Assisting swimmers at risk of drowning and providing first aid.
• Regular and dependable attendance is required.
• All other duties as assigned by a supervisor/manager within your department/division.
