About The Position
UCSF Fitness and Recreation operates two fitness centers at UCSF, providing fitness and wellbeing services to UCSF Students, Faculty, Staff and Community members through a broad range of fitness, recreation, aquatics, personal training, outdoor programs, and health and wellness programs. The Lifeguard works under direct supervision of the Aquatics Manager and is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day operations of the Aquatics unit, which include customer service, patron safety, pool maintenance, emergency procedures/evacuations, and daily safety checks of the swimming pools, and surrounding areas.
