About The Position
The Eric Snow Family YMCA is seeking qualified Lifeguards to ensure the safety of all swimmers and individuals in the aquatic area. This role requires vigilance, prompt response to emergencies, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment. The lifeguard will also attend mandatory in-service trainings and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of age
- Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding certification
- Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid certification
- Willingness to be trained if not currently certified
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the safety of all swimmers and people in the aquatic area
- Attending mandatory in-service trainings
- Maintaining a positive attitude & being a team player
- Being rescue ready at all times during shift
