About The Position
Responsible for the overall safety of patrons, general maintenance, and cleaning of facility. This position implements appropriate rescue, first aid and emergency procedures, cleans the pool, bathhouse, and related areas daily, and collects entry fees. The Lifeguard also enforces all rules and regulations as they relate to pool safety.
Requirements
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguard/First Aid & CPR/AED Certificate.
- Must be 18 years of age or have work permit.
- Subject to background investigation.
- Knowledge of proper lifeguarding procedures.
- Ability to deal effectively with the public.
- Ability to follow instructions; perform general cleaning.
Responsibilities

- Cleans pool, bathhouse, and related areas daily.
- Collects entry fees.
- Enforces all rules and regulations as they relate to pool safety.
- Attends weekly training sessions.
- Performs any other duties as assigned which relate to the operation of a public swimming pool.
- Performs related work as required.
Benefits
- Pay rate: $18.99 per hour
- Grade H06, Hourly position, up to 40 hours per week
