Role Overview: The Lifecycle Marketing Specialist supports execution across email, app push, and SMS marketing, working closely with the Lifecycle & Performance Marketing Manager to deliver day-to-day campaigns, journeys, and optimizations.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience in email, SMS, or marketing automation — Braze experience strongly preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with strong QA habits and comfort working within tight send-schedule deadlines.
  • Familiarity with segmentation, list management, and basic performance reporting.
  • Technology-forward mindset with genuine interest in using AI tools to streamline campaign workflows, accelerate QA, and surface insights from performance data.
  • Collaborative and eager to grow into greater strategic ownership over time.
  • Clear communicator who can work cross-functionally with Creative, Data, and external partners

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain segmentation and audience lists within Braze.
  • Support journey builds and updates based on customer behavior, lifecycle stage, and post-purchase communications.
  • QA all campaigns for functionality, rendering, tracking accuracy, and customer experience prior to send.
  • Monitor day-to-day channel performance and flag opportunities or issues to the Manager.
  • Execute email campaigns end-to-end — from briefing creative assets to scheduling, QA, and send.
  • Maintain the email content calendar and coordinate with Creative for asset delivery and timing.
  • Run A/B tests across email to support continuous performance improvement.
  • Identify and execute new strategies for growing the email subscriber list (e.g., sign-up incentives, on-site capture points, co-marketing opportunities).
  • Own and maintain a marketing calendar for in-app messaging and push notifications, ensuring timely and relevant delivery aligned with broader lifecycle and promotional strategy.
  • Collaborate with the App team on new marketing initiatives, feature releases, and in-app campaign opportunities to ensure marketing is integrated into the app roadmap.
  • Identify and execute new strategies for driving app downloads and push opt-ins.
  • Own the development and execution of new transactional and marketing SMS campaigns, from setup through send.
  • Identify and execute new strategies for growing the SMS subscriber list (e.g., sign-up incentives, on-site capture points, checkout opt-ins).
