About The Position

Imagine One is currently seeking the right candidate to provide Lifecycle Management. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in planning, coordinating, directing, and administering Force Weapons, as well as responsibilities related to weapons technical training, inspection, and aircraft carrier readiness. This role requires a deep understanding of conventional surface and air-launched weapon systems, including their operation, maintenance, diagnosis, repair, overhaul, modification, testing, certification, and safety. The position also involves developing weapons/system related ship alterations and repairs, modernization, and maintenance planning, as well as reviewing and assessing weapon system technical manuals and operational plans. The candidate will provide technical assistance and engineering services to various stakeholders, including the Force Weapons Officer, Force Engineer, and Ship’s Maintenance Planning Managers. Oversight of critical Warfighting IS, PIT control systems, Combat/Weapon, and HM&E systems is also a key aspect of this role. Additionally, the position requires experience in military weapon requirements, fleet input analysis, coordinating security force weapons and ammunition, and acting as a military weapons subject matter expert for watch teams and weapon usage. Monitoring critical supply requirements and providing technical, management, development, and integration expertise for naval weapons requirements onboard aircraft carriers within the last 5 years are also essential.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fluent use of Microsoft Products.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the planning, coordinating, directing and administering of Force Weapons.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience of responsibilities related to weapons technical training, inspection and aircraft carrier readiness.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in providing direct independent on-site engineering and technical service to Force Weapons, the Force Engineer and Ship’s Maintenance Planning Managers in support of conventional surface and air-launched weapon systems.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in providing technical assistance in the areas of air and surface launched weapons and weapon system stowage, handling and maintenance.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience directly related to the operation, maintenance, diagnosis, repair, overhaul, modification, test, certification, and safety of all types of air and surface launched weapon systems including stowage facilities, installed support and handling systems.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the development of weapons/system related ship alterations and repairs, as well as ship modernization and maintenance planning.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in reviewing draft/updated Airborne Weapon and Target NTSPs for adequacy and provide the Force Weapons Officer with appropriate assessments.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in oversight of activities, plans and strategy for critical Warfighting IS, PIT control systems, Combat/Weapon, Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the military weapon requirements and analyze fleet inputs concerning Warfighting requirements process.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in coordinating security force weapons and ammunition issues.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a military weapons subject matter expert in the conduct and operations of watch teams and the use of various handheld and crew serve weapons.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in monitoring critical supply requirements with the appropriate weapons system manager.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience of technical, management, development and integration with Naval weapons requirements onboard aircraft carriers occurring within the last 5 years.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • ACTIVE Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Prior USN active-duty weapons enlisted rating or assigned Officer preferred.
  • Prior DLCPO/WCS experience, onboard a CVN preferred.
