This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, maintenance, training, and advancement of combat diving systems and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) used by Naval Special Warfare (NSW) entities. The position enhances operational readiness, manages inventory, and supports current and future technologies. The role involves developing and delivering training curricula, performing maintenance, managing government-approved programs, providing technical advice, and assisting in the development of future technologies. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring equipment is operational, and reporting deficiencies. Travel, both CONUS and OCONUS, is required for training, operations, and conferences. A key aspect of the role includes understanding the transport and storage of Lithium batteries and adhering to Navy Ordnance Safety and Security Activity (NOSSA) procedures.
