About The Position

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans. This role involves providing essential support and companionship to individuals, helping them live safely, independently, and with dignity. It requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for helping others.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid, non-probationary driver’s license held for at least 1 year with no restrictions
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a background check
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to supporting others
• Ability to safely bend, lift, and assist individuals with mobility
• Provide proof of a valid driver’s license (non-probationary for at least 1 year)
• Ability to attend paid orientation and commit to training

Nice To Haves

• 6 months – 1 year of caregiving or human services experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, toileting, and hygiene
• Transport clients to appointments using company vehicles
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Provide wheelchair assistance and ensure safe mobility
• Offer companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Help maintain the safety and well-being of each individual served
• Use proper lifting and body mechanics to safely assist clients
