About The Position

Spread Your Wings, LLC. is seeking a Life Skills Mentor to join their Independent Living program. This full-time position involves coaching clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges to build independent living skills such as cooking, budgeting, and hygiene. The role requires spending 90% of the time in the field with clients and 10% on administrative tasks, including documentation of progress through case notes and quarterly reports. The mentor will also collaborate with program managers, regional center coordinators, and training staff.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
Able to work in the Orange County area (Santa Ana, Anaheim, Orange, Huntington Beach, Buena Park, Stanton, Fountain Valley, Placentia, Garden Grove)
Able to pass a background check (per state industry standards)
Computer literacy: MS Word, email, basic data entry

Are a strong communicator, dependable, and a creative problem-solver
Can work flexible hours and adapt to different client needs
Are comfortable working independently in one-on-one settings with clients
Have behavioral health experience

Responsibilities
