About The Position

COME JOIN OUR TEAM!!! Now Hiring a Life Skills Coach for our Independent Living Services. This is a Full-Time position, 30 hours a week, with a morning shift (6 hours a day). A Male Bilingual-Spanish-English candidate is preferred, though other positions are available for females. We are looking for self-starters who require minimum supervision.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
• Able to work in the North Orange County area
• Able to pass a background check
• Computer literacy: MS Word, email, basic data entry

• Are a strong communicator, dependable, and a creative problem-solver
• Can work flexible hours and adapt to different client needs working independently in one-on-one settings with clients
• Have behavioral health experience

Responsibilities

• Coach clients on building independent living skills (e.g., cooking, budgeting, hygiene)
• Encourage, motivate, and support clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges
• Help plan, create, and organize weekly goals and schedules that work for your clients
• Document progress through case notes and quarterly reports
• Spend 90% of your time in the field with clients and 10% on admin/documentation
• Collaborate with program managers, regional center coordinators, and training staff
