About The Position
Join Spread Your Wings, LLC. – ILS Services as a Life Skills Mentor/Coach and support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence and confidence in their daily lives. This is a part-time position covering the Marina areas, requiring bilingual skills (English/Spanish) and working Monday through Friday. The role involves coaching clients on essential life skills, providing encouragement and support, and collaborating with program managers and coordinators. The company is a fast-growing social services organization founded in 2015, committed to helping individuals grow and thrive.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Able to work and commute in and around the Carme-by-the-Sea/Carmel Valley/ Pacific Grove/ Seaside areas
- Able to pass a background check (per state industry standards)
- Computer literacy: MS Word, email, basic data entry

Responsibilities
- Coach clients on building independent living skills (e.g., cooking, budgeting, hygiene)
- Encourage, motivate, and support clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges
- Help plan, create, and organize weekly goals and schedules that work for your clients
- Provide consistent documentation of progress through case notes and quarterly reports
- Spend 90% of your time in the field with clients and 10% on admin/documentation
- Collaborate with program managers, regional center coordinators, and training staff
