In this position you would empower people with disabilities to gain social and daily living skills, and to be active members of their communities. This is a great opportunity to join our Virtual Community team. The Virtual Community provides a way for Easterseals associates and individuals in the community to make meaningful connections. The Virtual Community is a digital resource for learning, connecting, and accessing information and instructional content created for individuals and associates at Easterseals Southern California. While individuals and ESSC associates may not be in the same physical location, visitors can “attend” a class or activities virtually on topics such as: exercise, technology, wellness, safety, advocacy, and many other fun and inspiring activities. Position: Life Skills Coach 1 - Virtual Community - Open to internal applicants Location: This position will support the virtual community and will be seated at Santa Ana or an ADS location with space. Work will be completed virtually. Hours: Full-time - Monday-Friday - 8:00 am - 4:00pm Hourly Starting Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour Additional information: Bi-lingual/Spanish preferred Strong tech skills preferred - experience with applications such as Zoom, Teams, Outlook, and social media platforms • Excellent Monday through Friday work schedule. Directly assists individuals with the planning and selection of activities and life skills learning experiences, and achievement of individual’s goals that foster self-awareness, personal growth, and independence while at the service and beyond. Provides emotional support, supervision and personal care to individuals in the service.
