OsmindSan Francisco, CA
$110,000 - $125,000Onsite

About The Position

Osmind powers the largest network of independent psychiatry practices in the country — 1,000+ clinics — on top of our own EHR and real-world evidence platform. Our Biosciences team turns that data and clinical footprint into partnerships with biopharma companies across our four life sciences product lines: clinical real-world evidence, clinical research, commercial real-world evidence, and sales & marketing solutions. This hire will be one of the first few people building out the Biosciences unit, a small, fast-moving team sitting at the intersection of neuropsychiatry, data, and commercial strategy. The role offers direct exposure to biopharma partners and executive leadership, with the scope of ownership expanding quickly from contributing to workstreams to owning them outright and shaping the direction of engagements.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years at a life sciences consulting firm (or within a commercial analytics, market research, business operations role within a biotech company)
  • Direct commercial biopharma exposure across product forecasting, launch/GTM strategy, market access, and payer dynamics
  • Advanced Excel skills: You've built complex models from scratch and owned them end to end. Comfortable with scenario logic, sensitivity analysis, and structuring a model someone else can pick up
  • Survey instrument design experience (Qualtrics, Typeform, or similar platforms)
  • Capable of translating both unstructured and structured data into actionable analyses and insights that solve our clients questions
  • Attention to detail and operational excellence
  • Comfort with ambiguity, and the initiative to move a deliverable forward without being told to

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced analytics experience (Python, R, SQL)
  • Psychiatry, neuroscience, or CNS experience
  • Startup experience or small-team background
  • A degree in a relevant scientific field (neuroscience, biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, biostatistics, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Build and own commercial models detailing specific market TAMs, expected product revenues, psychiatric clinic revenue modeling, and epidemiological based forecasting.
  • Combine clinical trial data, market research, and analyst reports into competitive landscape analyses.
  • Build scenario-based models capable of demonstrating first and second order effects of various inputs.
  • Design, edit, program, and field quantitative surveys for a variety of clinician audiences, including end-to-end execution across instrument design through analysis.
  • Draft clinician interview guides and lead subsequent interviews.
  • Run research operations end to end, from participant recruiting through fieldwork completion.
  • Turn primary research and real-world evidence into insights that move a commercial project forward.
  • Analyze real-world datasets spanning claims and EHR data to find actionable insights.
  • Design and build both prospective and retrospective data analysis projects.
  • Track the competitive and launch landscape for the therapies our partners care about.
  • Build the deliverables that go to partners: presentation slide decks, handoff-ready models, conference abstracts, and more.
  • Manage against real deadlines, including external review windows.
  • Learn Osmind's rights-to-win well enough that you can eventually write a proposal end-to-end — scope, pricing, terms — for a new business opportunity.
  • Sit in client and prospect meetings, help write proposals, support negotiations, and support project execution & upsell discussions.
  • Leverage client-facing abilities to develop deep relationships, effectively project manage client projects, and identify and execute on cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Maintain an understanding of R&D pipelines, M&A activity, funding activity, asset development, etc. of neuropsychiatry drug and device development.
