The Life Insurance Specialist is responsible for the administration, marketing, service, and sale of life insurance products, and will provide additional service and support to changing existing client’s life insurance coverages. Develops a marketing strategy and works closely with our Marketing team and Financial Advisor team to seek new prospects via direct mail, social media, group presentations, promotions, and other methods. Consults with existing and prospective clients to assess insurance needs, budget, financial planning goals, and other relevant details. Provides rate quotes and coverage recommendations; assists with long-term planning. Assists with completion of application and other necessary paperwork; obtains underwriting approval. Delivers policy and plan documents to the clients for review and signatures. Follows up with clients on a periodic basis to assess financial, family, and other changes that may warrant modification of coverage. Work with existing policy holders to review, renew, and convert term life policies. Maintains RedTail client database with accurate up-to-date information and documentation of life prospects/clients and expirations dates. Facilitates distributions to beneficiaries as directed on the death of the policyholder. Other job duties as assigned.
