Life Enrichment Director - Activities
About The Position
At our community, our Life Enrichment Director plays a key role in enriching our residents to live an active vibrant life! This role involves getting to know residents to plan and implement spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming. The director will promote and communicate community events, participate in activities like games, painting, singing, and music, and utilize social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily happenings. Occasional driving of a company vehicle for resident transport may be required, along with setting up and breaking down events.
Requirements
- Quickly connect with people and love to learn about them.
- Talents as a singer, dancer, artist, poet, historian, or trivia expert are a plus.
- Positive attitude and a lot of energy.
- Active Driver's license in good standing.
- Experience in dementia care and assisted living environments.
- Knowledge of recreational therapy and memory care practices.
- Mid-level experience in senior care settings.

Responsibilities
- Plan and implement spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming for residents.
- Promote and communicate upcoming community events and activities.
- Organize and run resident activities such as games, painting, singing, and music.
- Utilize social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily happenings.
- Occasionally drive the company vehicle to transport residents to and from events (for those 21 or over).
- Help set up and break down events and activities.
