Now Hiring: Life Enrichment Director About the Role: As our Life Enrichment Director, you’ll design, plan, and lead engaging activity programs that enhance the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of our residents. You’ll play a key role in creating a vibrant community atmosphere, fostering meaningful connections, and ensuring residents’ interests and needs are met through diverse and stimulating activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
- Activity Director Certification (ADC) preferred
- Active CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, organize, and implement activity programs tailored to residents’ interests and individual needs
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate activities supporting residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being
- Coordinate programs and events sponsored by community groups
- Develop and oversee the community’s volunteer program
- Manage the Life Enrichment department’s budget and purchase supplies as needed
- Work closely with all departments to promote resident engagement and maximize quality of life
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and social engagement
- Prepare and distribute monthly activity calendars and schedules
- Ensure activity areas are clean, safe, and inviting
- Drive the community vehicle for resident outings as required
- Make daily rounds to monitor program effectiveness and resident engagement
- Foster a warm, welcoming environment that emphasizes personal connection and positive experiences for all residents
