About The Position

Iris Memory Care of NW OKC is seeking an experienced, compassionate Life Enrichment Director (Activities Director) to oversee our resident engagement program and lead a team dedicated to creating meaningful experiences for individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. This is an opportunity to build relationships, inspire your team, and create purposeful moments that bring joy, comfort, and connection to residents every day. The Life Enrichment Director oversees all aspects of the community's Life Enrichment department, ensuring residents experience meaningful opportunities for social engagement, cognitive stimulation, physical activity, creativity, and emotional well-being. This leadership role is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive activities program while supervising the Life Enrichment team, managing departmental resources, coordinating volunteers, collaborating with other department leaders, and ensuring compliance with state requirements for memory care programming. This is a full-time salaried leadership position requiring flexibility to support occasional evenings, weekends, and community events.

Requirements

  • Leadership experience in activities, recreation, or life enrichment preferred
  • Memory care or senior living experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Budget and department management experience
  • Creative, compassionate, and team-oriented
  • Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends
  • Valid driver's license preferred

Responsibilities
