Requirements

High School Diploma
Minimum of 6 months of experience in activities, particularly in a senior care setting
Creativity
Strong activity planning capabilities
Excellent customer service skills
Basic computer proficiency
Reliable transportation
Ability to ensure punctual arrival for scheduled activities

Nice To Haves

Higher education in related fields
Certifications in activities through NCCAP or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

Planning and implementing various activities and programs to engage residents and enhance their well-being.
Coordinating events, outings, and social gatherings.
Collaborating with other team members to create a stimulating environment.
Building relationships with residents.
Assessing resident interests and needs, and tailoring programs to meet their preferences.
Developing engaging and innovative activities that promote social interaction and overall happiness.
