About The Position

Lifetime Wellness is seeking a compassionate, creative Life Enrichment Coordinator to work in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The role plans, develops, and leads programs that support residents’ physical, social, emotional, intellectual, vocational, and spiritual well-being. The coordinator works closely with residents, families, community partners, and interdisciplinary team members to create a vibrant and purposeful environment.

The position is suited to someone passionate about creating meaningful, engaging, person-centered experiences for older adults. Programs should reflect residents’ interests, abilities, needs, and preferences and foster joy, purpose, connection, and meaningful engagement.

Requirements

• Previous experience in senior living, long-term care, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare life enrichment programming is required.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to plan and lead creative, meaningful, and resident-centered programs.
• Compassionate, dependable, energetic, and team-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Activity Director, Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, or related certification preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines related to activities and life enrichment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a well-rounded life enrichment calendar that reflects resident interests, abilities, needs, and preferences.
• Lead engaging group and individual activities that promote quality of life, social connection, independence, and personal fulfillment.
• Complete assessments, documentation, care-planning contributions, and activity participation records as required.
• Support resident engagement through creative programming, special events, outings, wellness campaigns, and community involvement.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and team members.
• Ensure programs meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Promote a positive, encouraging, and inclusive environment for all residents.
