Silver Birch Living is coming to Mansfield — join our founding team! Silver Birch Living is proud to open Silver Birch of Mansfield in Spring 2026, an affordable assisted living community built to serve seniors in the greater Mansfield area. Guided by our mission — Inspire Purposeful Lives for All — we are building a community where residents find connection, joy, belonging, and purpose every day. We are seeking an experienced Life Enrichment Coordinator who is passionate about working with seniors and excited to help launch a community with meaningful engagement at its core. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working with seniors
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners
  • Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and adjusted hours as needed for resident and event support
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Background in resident programming, activities, recreation, or engagement roles

Responsibilities

  • Creating, planning, and executing a monthly activity calendar that reflects core values and infuses the dimensions of wellness
  • Identifying resident interests and preferences to develop personalized, engaging programming
  • Leading and facilitating the move-in day experience, supporting families and encouraging successful resident transition into community life
  • Organizing and facilitating Resident Council meetings monthly, ensuring minutes are taken, posted, and shared
  • Developing and maintaining welcoming, safe, and engaging Life Enrichment community spaces
  • Partnering with Sales & Marketing to plan and promote prospect engagement events and experiences
  • Creating a monthly community newsletter highlighting programs, events, and resident experiences
  • Contributing to the community Facebook page through regular posts and photos
  • Managing the General Store and community General Store program
  • Ordering, securing, and maintaining supplies and inventory for activities and events
  • Supporting the Life Enrichment budget, controlling expenses, submitting monthly expense and reimbursement reports
  • Coordinating and facilitating community van transportation for resident appointments and outings
