Requirements
- Experience in activities, recreation, social services, human services, or senior living preferred
- Passion for working with older adults
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain Social Services Designee certification within six months (if not already certified)
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead engaging activities that promote socialization, wellness, and quality of life
- Support residents and families with transitions, emotional well-being, and community resources
- Advocate for resident rights and person-centered care
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to meet residents' needs
- Assist with activity calendars, documentation, and regulatory compliance
