About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Life Enrichment Director, this role is responsible for designing and implementing an activities program (both group and individual) that meets the needs of all Woodridge residents. Under the supervision of the Licensed Nurse and Life Enrichment Director, the position provides direct and indirect patient care for residents while they are engaged in Life Enrichment programs and events. These patient care duties are performed within the scope of practice of their LNA license from the State of Vermont.

Requirements

• Minimum of six months experience in a long term care or skilled nursing facility.
• Current VT LNA license is required.
• Knowledge and computer experience in word, excel and electronic MR.
• Understanding in care plan and documentation processes for long term care.
• Overall knowledge and understanding of the aging process.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all team members.

Responsibilities
